Enter your old email address. This step is also basically an extra security check. If Google sees something strange happening with your account, list to data they can reach you at your old email address. Now you are done: your email address, and thus Google account, has been created.

You can send emails on the left side of your screen, below that you can see which of your friends are online (you can then (video) chat with them). Furthermore, at the top right under ‘Settings’ you can change your background, import other email addresses, create labels and more. At the very top of the screen, just below the URL bar, you can use all kinds of Google products: Google Plus, YouTube, the calendar and Google Drive for example.
